Jake Patrick Dilanzo, 32, of Chalfont, was arrested after police responded to a Target store after receiving reports of a man driving through the parking lot tossing clothing covered in feces out the window, according to the Warrington Township Police Department. This was on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Officers found Dilanzo on the ground under a vehicle acting erratically, police said. He admitted to driving and refused to take any field sobriety tests.
He was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, according to police. Suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found in Dilanzo's possession.
Dilanzo was taken to the police station where he was processed and released, police said.
Police said he was charged with:
- Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.
- Possession of a Controlled Substance.
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
- Disorderly Conduct.
Court documents for these charges were not available at press time.
Dilanzo has an active case against him for Public Drunkenness in the Court of Common Pleas stemming from an incident in Bensalem on Wednesday, Oct. 9, according to court documents. He's also facing DUI charges from an incident in Philadelphia on Monday, Oct. 7. He was placed on two years of probation in 2018 after pleading guilty to Invasion of Privacy charges in Montgomery County.
